The course content of C1 German course is very diverse. Besides grammar and vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension and writing skills are also trained. In the courses, much emphasis is placed on the communicative ability of the participants.

An evening, morning or weekend course for advanced learners at level B1, B2, C1 or C2 lasts 20-24 days, including 72 lessons (each lasting 45 minutes). This means that, on average, you will have three lessons per evening, morning or weekend.

As a result of completing level C1, you will be able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. You will be able to recognize implicit meaning and express ideas fluently and spontaneously without having to search for words.

For studies taught in German, you need to demonstrate at least a C1 level of proficiency in the language, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or DSH II certification.

C1 level German is considered advanced and shows the holder has full control of German grammar and vocabulary. The only higher CEFR level is C2, which even native German speakers can struggle to reach.

Level B1 or B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, depending on the federal state in which you wish to work.

With a C1 German certificate you can: Improve your chances on the job market. Gain access to higher education programs in Germany. Provide proof of your advanced language skills for the Naturalization after 3 years. Express yourself confidently and competently in complex and demanding situations.
