Course description

The A2 Spanish course is designed for beginners with some prior knowledge of the language. This three-month, 100% online course will provide the tools for successful communication. Our online A2 Spanish lessons focus on real-life conversational skills.

What will I learn?

  • Can understand sentences and commonly used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (personal and family information, shopping, work, local area).
  • Can interact in simple, routine situations requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
  • Can use simple means to describe own background and education, immediate surroundings and matters relating to immediate needs.

A2 part A – Reflexive verbs, seasons, frequency, expressing feelings, materials, past perfect, the comparative, animals, the imperative form, conditional sentences, food, talk about traveling, past indefinite, biographical data, and the possessive.

A2: A2 is the level where you start learning about different past tenses in Spanish. Thus, you an speak about your past experiences, what you have done in your life and how your life used to be in different stages. Your vocabulary also improves so that you can start speaking about new topics such as work and abilities.

Learners at A2 can understand commonly used expressions. They can communicate in simple, routine situations that involve a simple and direct exchange of information about familiar and common things. They can describe their background and education, as well as things related to immediate needs.

-Level A2:180-200 hours, 9 or 10 weeks. -Level B2: 500-600 hours, which are 25 or 30 weeks, depending on the different factors mentioned above.

Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Level A2 corresponds to basic users of the language, i.e. those able to communicate in everyday situations with commonly-used expressions and elementary vocabulary.

Passing the DELE A2 exam is a big step. This exam is useful, among other cases, to apply for Spanish citizenship. And, although you've probably read a lot about the theoretical learning objectives and exam structure, I'm sure you feel a bit anxious about your Spanish level and nervous about the contents of the exam.
