The Aptis A1 test assesses your basic English proficiency, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, and language skillsIt includes a core component (grammar & vocabulary) and allows you to choose which language skills (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) you want to be tested on. 

What will I learn?

  • An A1 level result on the Aptis test indicates a beginner-level proficiency in English, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • The test provides a scaled score (0-50) and CEFR level for each skill (reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
