The B1 Spanish course is designed for intermediate learners who are ready to attain a level that will allow them to communicate comfortably with native Spanish speakers. Our three-month, 100% online B1 Spanish lessons help you build speaking fluency by focusing on real-life conversational skills.

In the B1 course, you will be able to consolidate your knowledge about the different past tenses, while also learning about new and complex grammatical rules. At this level, you will also be able to enrich your vocabulary and understand simple texts on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.

The DELE Spanish Diploma level B1 accredits language users' capacity to: Understand the gist of clear texts, in standard language, if they involve well-known topics related to work, studies, or leisure.

The Spanish B1 level is classified as an intermediate threshold by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At this level, students are able to put simple sentences together, carry on simple conversations, and understand the essential ideas in simple texts

Someone at B1 level still has a way to go before being able to do that. They may understand much of what is being said around them, but be unable to produce such language themselves. People at B1 are not normally fluent. i am B1 in Spanish and very far from being fluent.

A1 Level (Beginner): 70-80 hours. A2 Level (Elementary): 150-180 hours. B1 Level (Intermediate): 300-360 hours.
